9/11/07

Report Date: September 11, 2007

The Dolphin fishing is hit or miss . The sure bet is the Blackfin tuna fishing. The offshore humps have a good number of tuna on them with some nice fish to 20 pounds mixed in. On the way out, keep an eye out for birds or that magic piece of debris that may hold a school of dolphin. There were some still some nice kings being caught off the reef in 100 to 200 feet of water.

On the reef, the Yellowtail snappers are still biting good. The mangrove snappers have moved back into the bay.

In the park, the creek mouths are holding nice trout. We fished the deeper cuts for some sharks. We caught lemons and black tips.
